Women's NCAA's here in 2007 at Sally's on the U of Minnesota campus. Another one of your guys with some of our WBB alumni.

Well be prepared for the wrath of Pants, Boxster, and BU on the subject of running shoes. I also had never had heard of the 2 item rule learn something different every day.
I'm ok with two items of the same team. And the problem with tennis shoes and jeans isn't that it's tennis shoes and jeans, it's that usually it's dad shoes and dad jeans.
Bawbie, I think I'd give a pass for the stocking hat, unless you're going hipster and wearing it inside.
The philosophy is that if you're head to toe in one team gear, it looks like you're wearing a uniform or something, and that you're on the team or part of the organization. Since you're not, it's like you're playing dress-up. Kids can play dress up, a grown-*** man should not. An exception is given for game days when you're not in the general public, but I'll admit I'd even struggle with feeling weird getting to and from the game that way.
WX: as a student manager in college, you'd be fine. As a grown-*** man, you're not.wink:
Really-though...to each his own, but personally, I do think it looks more grown-up to be a little more subtle than going full on with the 'walking billboard' look. I'd even be hesitant to wear an ISU shirt with a cardinals hat, I think I'd just do one or the other.

Once I even ended up wearing those ISU tattoos back from KC (the year that MBB & WBB both won) Stopped in DM for gas and the clerk said "How was Kansas City?" I was like huh? He said your still wearing your war paint. Life's too short not to have fun every now and then.

For what ive always known is that all bets are off for events. Going to them, going to events like the tailgate tour or going to game watches; feel free to even where the isu thong. If there isn't a function (as the 90s sorority ladies would say) then avoid the double exposure. I thinks it's ok if it's freezing outside and you have a heavy clothes on, but peel on off once you get inside.

NW I think you're onto something. Instead of dollar dances, you auction off a crack at the maid of honor. Would probably make twice of a dollar dance. Could register for numbers and do a silent bid to keep it a little quieter if someone didn't want to openly bid. GENIUS NW!!!!!!!!!!
