where did the SDSU coach go?

I think that'd be a pretty good entry level HC job - they have a history of success and (from an outsiders pov) a solid athletic department. I have a bunch of family members that are alums and big Jackrabbit fans.

Obviously hate to see Otz go if he does, but he's given us a lot already. I'd like to see him go somewhere, cut his teeth and prove himself, and then down the road if this job is open and he's shown he can handle being the HC at a Big 12 school I don't see any reason Otz wouldn't be a prime candidate. He's already proven he can recruit some good players.

Didn't Otz interview/compete for the ISU job, then take a backseat and stay on with Prohm? Perhaps it was tough timing to go looking for a new job when it happened, but that still takes a lot of integrity and I'd say he's earned the right to leave.

Prohm had NBA players at Murray State and didn't have Otz so I don't feel much need for concern at the moment.
