Man-Man's shoulder...

I wonder if other teams are going to go after Monté and mess with his shoulder. I doubt Iona will, but if we are lucky enough to advance, I could totally see Purdue or Virginia taking some cheap shots.

Burton will have to take care of business...or Stu, definitely Stu.

Michael Admire was just on Murph and Andy and said Monte has been practicing. Monte said his shoulder isn't 100%, but feels better. Admire said Monte had much better body language and seemed more upbeat than he had recently.

the body language part is encouraging. Monte seemed as down as I've ever heard him on Sunday.

You are going to see a lot of "incidental" shoulder bums. You can take that the bank.

CW made a point yesterday on the radio that didn't really surprise me. Monte had been struggling before he hurt his shoulder and he basically said Monte is playing up the injury a little bit and it could be more mental than anything. If he can't shoot he needs to getting 10 assists instead of 2 assists.

My thoughts as well, if his shoulder is/was visibly hurt, he shouldn't be taking 9 shots.

They won't be giving him cortisone shots before every game. They don't do those on a day-by-day basis. If he had one prior to OU I wouldn't expect another one for awhile.
Cortisone shots don't begin immediately. I've had it take five or six days to kick in

How's 'bout we fly Snoop Dog in for some of his pre-game therapy?

Can we get someone to lay hands on his shoulder for miracle healing?
