He should wear a "Hilton Magic is Real" XXXXXXXXXXXXL Tshirt, too.

If we get him a good seat, when Self has the anticipated meltdown Big Georges can reach down and snatch that Trump toupee off Bill's head and toss it on the court like an octopus at a hockey game.

So wait until he officially leaves the program. The NCAA has no authority at that point.

Or Niang can buy it for a nominal fee after he graduates. It's super cool but not like it has value to other then Cyclone fans.

I promise to not outbid Georges.

Friends or family maybe. The young man that made it passed away two years ago

There were two guys that designed and invested into it. One the designers took his life and his best friend, the other designer, works for me.

Actually this would not be okay. Kansas for years used to have boosters giving graduating senior basketball players envelopes of money at their senior basketball banquet to congratulate them for graduating. It went on for years before the NCAA figured out that this was an impermissible benefit even if just delayed.

Tuco in five, four, three...

When Daniel Edozie needed help to go to a basketball league/tourney/combine?/NBA thingy in Vegas after he graduated and was hoping to get a look from the NBA, there was a crowd-funding source started to help him with expenses. We almost got in deep doo-doo because of it. At the time I thought it was BS, but on reflection, I can see how it could be abused (come play for us...after you graduate, we'll give you a new car).

I look at it like this. If it is something where they expect it for everyone it is a problem. If it is just something that happens then it shouldn't be an issue.

And in this case, that's what happened. Someone from compliance sought approval from NCAA before the funds were released, and they actually approved it.
