Kansas fans would start a petition to get it taken down.Let's all chip in and buy Big Georges a ticket to Saturday's game in Lawrence. He may need 2 seats but he should be there.
So wait until he officially leaves the program. The NCAA has no authority at that point.

I am not familiar with this - what is it? Statue? One of those enormous pictures of his head?
Its for sure getting put in Wallaby's per the person that designed and made it.
Friends or family maybe. The young man that made it passed away two years ago

Just heard on local Des Moines radio that Big Georges may have found a home in the stairwell of Walleby's restaurant in Ames.
There were two guys that designed and invested into it. One the designers took his life and his best friend, the other designer, works for me.
Actually this would not be okay. Kansas for years used to have boosters giving graduating senior basketball players envelopes of money at their senior basketball banquet to congratulate them for graduating. It went on for years before the NCAA figured out that this was an impermissible benefit even if just delayed.
Tuco in five, four, three...
 I was not aware of this.
I look at it like this. If it is something where they expect it for everyone it is a problem. If it is just something that happens then it shouldn't be an issue. When Daniel Edozie needed help to go to a basketball league/tourney/combine?/NBA thingy in Vegas after he graduated and was hoping to get a look from the NBA, there was a crowd-funding source started to help him with expenses. We almost got in deep doo-doo because of it. At the time I thought it was BS, but on reflection, I can see how it could be abused (come play for us...after you graduate, we'll give you a new car).
