Huh? #2 OSU lost at ISU on 18 NOV. This year undefeated OSU played at ISU on 14 NOV. So 4 days is the difference between "late" and not late?
No kidding. ISU played Kansas early in the year in Ames and had TCU mid October, UT on Halloween, and OSU in mid November. I have zero issue with the scheduling at all. ISU got the schedule it wanted for only 6 home games by not having a home game on either end of Thanksgiving break.
Last year ISU had OU here on Nov 1st and Tech here on Nov 22nd.
People need to remember in the old big 12 it was nearly impossible to play the south teams late as you generally played cross division games early and teams from the North Division were always the last 3-4 games of the season.
Call me crazy but I would rather play KU, KSU, and WV late to help create and strengthen rivalries especially if they are meaningful games to end the season.
Sounds like Campbell has added Bryan Gasser to the Iowa State staff from Toledo. Tight Ends and Special Teams coach.

I'd rather they be sprinkled around different points in the season so that we don't have to deal with straight games involving BU, OU, OKST, TCU... A little bit of up and down balance is nice to have.
Has there been any rumors on Sage or Seneca coming on as a QB coach lately? I'm not advocating for or against, just curious.

I would be shocked if we brought either of them on to be QB coach. It seems like Campbell only wants experienced recruiters.
has this been confirmed? Because that sounds like a good hire since all the Toledo fans I heard want to keep him badly.
