unbelievable watch this

Not only that, we then consolidated our power and place in the world by fostering revolutions all over the world.

Didn't you learn anything in school? History is full of Authoritarian state success stories.

So cops are okay to act like children, but children should not act like children. That seems pretty solid and an accurate portrayal of how a lot of people think law enforcement should work.

So it's natural for children to ignore a cop?

No, of course not. But is an extreme response to revolt always a good thing, either?

Definitely not.

The authority was doing it's job. Albeit in an extreme matter.

Why was he ever put into this situation?

Because the student wasn't doing their job.

This student was written up for disrupting the class, then seconds later asked to go to the office for not complying. Student refused to leave the class, which then makes this student a threat to the class, physically or mentally, because those around them are not accomplishing anything. SRO is called in, and repeatedly asked student to leave the class before using force.

Apparently, all she did to warrant being thrown to the ground and handcuffed was refusing to give up her phone to the teacher. Unbelievable!

How so?

Is the school says no cell phones, no cell phones. Same with no hats or no gums.

Why does the teacher make a big deal out of this? Because if a teacher allows any of this, they can get in trouble with the school.

So it's not the teachers fault that the student was written up. They were doing their job.

Unbelievable, without knowing anything else about the story or the previous issues with the student. I'm guessing this wasn't her first run-in with the SRO, but I don't have any proof to back that up. What is believable is people thinking twice before spouting off to that teacher again.

Little to do with speaking back to a teacher. Just listen to and respect authority and there's no issues.

Is not having your cell phone in school going to really hurt you?

That's definitely the answer, I really long for the days when we had segregated bathrooms and water fountains.

So according to you then, the student who filmed the incident should also be written-up and possibly assaulted and handcuffed for using his phone?

Very, very different situations. But go ahead and get as radical as you can, that'll really prove your point.

What point is this girl trying to make by not turning over her phone, ignoring her teacher when asked to leave the class, ignoring her assistant principal when asked to leave the class, and ignoring her SRO when asked to leave the class?

no but a crazy power hungry maniac SRO apparently will.

If there was a video vindicating the cop, it would have been out first thing this morning.

Again, very radical.

Student that was filming was never "busted" for having their phone out and the student filming was never asked to leave the classroom.

much like a grown man and cop beating up a 17 year old girl because he wasn't getting his way.

Are students really going to get out their phones to record a teacher asking a student to leave class?

Probably not. That isn't uncommon.

Are students really going to get out their phones to record an assistant principal asking a student to leave class?

Probably not. That isn't uncommon.

Are the students going to get out their phones to record an SRO who is consistently being ignored by a student who has disrespected her teachers and principals?

Probably.

you are apparently not in touch with kids that age, because most of them videotape them tying their shoes and eating macaroni. I think there would have been a video of a girl hitting a cop.

I have a feeling you start a lot of conversations with "I'm not racist, but...."

Probably.

And thank God they did. MAYBE now the school district will actually be held accountable for what happened...maybe.

So its not about rules or laws then; its about being caught and kissing *** when you are. Sounds fair to me.

Seems fair to me.

In 2009, during my senior year in high school, my entire table had their cell phones out. All saw the teacher coming except me. I was busted having it out and she took it.

I gave her the phone.

Why? Because I wasn't supposed to have it out in the first place, and I had to pay the consequences for doing so.

Did it suck my buddies weren't caught? Sure. But I'm not blaming them, and I'm not blaming her for not catching them.

Why?

Because I am responsible for my own actions, and pay for my actions.
