Yeah, we have that capability...I just keep forgetting to use it. So I tune out during commercials...but some of them are just hard to ignore...

Don't get me started on commercials during sports programs. I don't fit the demographic when I spend all day watching college football or basketball. I see enough ta-tas for three lifetimes every weekend. :)
Does the Lingerie Football League play all year?

Also, sorry about the toe. That stinks but it will get better with surgery.

I may step on toes here, but I really really HATE that "Thanks..." phrase/meme. I have kid & in-law who are very conservative, and they have taught their preteen daughter to use that phrase...in earnest, not as a joke. We finally asked them to NOT use it (even as a joke) when they come to our home. It's distressing to see and hear it everywhere, even as sarcasm. That's why I left the thread.

Still love all y'all, though! ;)

The way to look at it is that pop culture has turned it around on it's head from what the (I'm assuming) Tea Party originally tried to make it out to be, to where now it's making fun of those people.

I don't even know what there is to discuss in that thread. It's a non-starter.

You don't start a thread in the cave expecting everyone to agree. I think he already had an argument in his head before he posted it, then when no one argued it, he felt he had to get it out there anyway.

I think he just wants a pat on the back for being such a great person as to believe the children of politicians he doesn't like deserve privacy in a life they did not choose.

He's a little late to that party. I've been complaining about that for years. Amy Carter & Chelsea Clinton went through their awkward pre-teen stages in the White House, and the papparazzi were merciless to the Bush twins, who were behaving like most college kids behave.

I get that...but my kid & kid-in-law & grandkid are not using it to make fun of the tea party. They practically ARE the tea party. :(
