Probably here too...but it's long distance. Texas sis heads back to Phoenix tomorrow to check up on our father. I will be getting calls & texts like crazy...mostly venting.

well the bride is trying to refuse money from my parents because she and her family are deadset on not going past X amount. Plus money that the couple themselves could afford to spend. It's so weird that it's someone not wanting to spend money on a wedding. I totally get not going overboard, but it's more pennywise and pound foolish. So we're talking about a Sunday wedding at a place with no plumbing.
mine is gone too, thankfully. Now for the nose to clear up in time to actually sleep.

A couple of the groomsmen were late getting to the hotel where we were staying the night before, which meant we were late getting to the rehearsal. I had a talk with them, said that I was glad they were there to support me, and the best way they could support me is to help me make sure soon-to-be Mrs.00 was not stressing out. Being late for rehearsal was not a good way to do that. Then we drank beers most of the night....but no one was late.

Embarrassing younger guy admission (even though I'm old enough I should have known better)...my first thought was "Wow...NASA had high resolution cameras back then?"...for a split second before I was all "Oh, yeah...film, dummy"
