I hate raking leaves, and I get paid for it

we used to do that for our church and sometimes when before we lived at the farm, us kids would rake the leaves in our yard for fun. Mostly to jump in, but we liked raking too. It's usually so crisp and nice outside and the colors are pretty. I prefer that to the weeding I did today.

What I think when I read this.

That is a **** ton of leaves to clean up.

Not to mention having to pick up apples before you mow or you have applesauce going on.

Well, I have perfected two serving rhubarb mini-crisp and will be out of rhubarb with fall coming so am going to need some comfort food after those ISU football losses. Apple pie has been my go to fall treat.

BTW, I have one serving of rhubarb crisp left that I made for the football game last night. invited friends and shared for the first time since I am to the point of not thinking I'll screw it up. The 9/3/15 vintage was most yummy*. Not too sweet. Not too tart.




*Okay, that is going to kill Pants to read and not be able to call me a black-hearted ***** or something.

though am I biased and think DH and I would make cute babies.

That little niece (and both nieces!) is pretty darn cute though. I love her hair and big blue eyes.
