the lawn looks infinitely better when it is mowed. And Boxter, a redbud is in the plans. Going with mostly maples, possibly a couple blue spruces, and something that turns yellow. We could do another maple but I wondered if it should be a different species. Lindens look nice.

couple will be more at the edge of a property but man, we never did much with leaves growing up. Just let them compost into the lawn.

Make sure you allow for cross pollination. Many apple trees need to have two varieties side-by-side to bear fruit.

well, we did that for sure But as we got older, the leaves mostly just got mowed, I don't know that we ever bagged them. But that was a farm. We have a big yard here though, we'll see. I don't mind raking leaves in the fall.
