Twas my whole plan, m'dear!

She IS a doll...love the red hair. Are mom and/or dad gingers?

a grandma on mom's side has a little red, I believe. DH has often voiced his like of red hair so I think this has given him hope that we can have a red-haired baby, even though mom isn't the bio relative, lol.

Just beat FCS Midwest on NCAA Football 2012 56-10. Expecting a similar result tomorrow night. Not worried at all.
One of the things I don't like about the new ones are that there aren't any actual fcs schools in them and there's a limit to how many teams you can upload

I don't like how it takes 10 minutes to progress between weeks later in the season... I mean there's a lot of stats and information to process, but it's a little ridiculous (PS3).

When does it stop being hot in Dallas? January?

In New Orleans it was generally November. And by stop being hot I mean highs into the low 80s and lows into the 60s.

I remember going Christmas shopping in shorts and sandals several times while I was in New Orleans. Kind of weird seeing reindeer out as a Christmas thing when it's 75 out.

Just realized we get a gameday thread in less than 2 hours. Debating whether to buy CyclonesTv

I have had it since it was the clone zone. Back then, tv coverage was pretty bad, but I always thought "If nothing else, AM 1600 in CR carries them, I can always listen to them on radio...except at night, AM stations (some of them, anyway) crank down their output. So any night basketball game, I couldn't get. It's auto-renewed every year since. Honestly, I like it, but I don't use it a lot. I do try and tune into the pregame show on there, and of course the UNI game and the other basketball games. However, for me, the $80 a year is a small price to pay, and it's nice insurance to have available. Actually, though, this year I might use it more, since we dropped cable in the spring.

I've had it before, it just seems that I'm never around to watch a game when it's on there.

It pays for me since I like to catch volleyball and the WBB home games. It can be a little glitchy sometimes but generally the upgrade to HD at Hilton is a big plus. Generally watch on my laptop but have HDMI cabled it to my big screen.

I bought one of these this year that sits in my tv stand.

(surprised at that Amazon price of 209, when I bought mine, it was 179, and I got a CPO one for I think 150.

Wireless keyboard and mouse...did a few trial runs watching old cyclones games on the cyclones.tv live stream channel, but tomorrow will be her first real test where I'll be grumpy if it doesn't work.
