Priced out carpet for a potential home purchase. Wasn't nearly as bad I was thinking.
Now to just get my wife more daycare clients and we are golden.

CG, was this on the news at all? I believe I may have met this man once. My old neighbor is friends with him.

so I figured out the ribbony looking metal piece thing is supposed to be nice and flat and hook into the piece that came out. That piece, some shoe thing, is apparently very hard to get out of the track. Ha, piece of cake for me!
Just don't tell DH and always keep the window closed and locked. Problem solved.
well this would have been a good plan except the ribbony thing is in the way of wear the window goes and no, I can't move it out of the way. The window can't go back in until it gets fixed. So we discussed covering the window in plastic if we can't get it take care of right away.
He laughed and shook his head at me when he saw it. He was also a bit flabbergasted at how I managed to destroy the window like that. I said "you totaled my car". I should be able to get a lot of mileage out of that excuse.
I haven't read the thread since last night, but I had a question about that. Were your posts about everyone in that thread saying it was a fun game to watch, or only about the way that one specific poster was posting? For some reason I seem to be extra salty in the NDSU/Montana thread on the football forum. I have no idea why, either. I truly don't give a **** one way or another, but for some reason I keep posting.

That one poster. I didn't watch. It could have very well been a fun game to watch. Just the way he was clammering to both teams (and even Lakesbison at that) about how amazing they were and he wishes ISU was them rubbed me the wrong way. If either of those teams played in our position, their best case scenario would be three or four wins, yet he's getting his panties all wet over them like they're the greatest thing. Just ****** me off, for some reason.
I understand. It was a great game, but he was a little annoying imo. And I hate how every football game has to be some kind of referendum on our team/coaches. It's possible to just watch the game and enjoy it for what it is.That one poster. I didn't watch. It could have very well been a fun game to watch. About all I can do to help, CG. I'm not driving to Wisconsin.
yeah I did see that clip actually. Ours is different. The spiral currently looks like a Christmas ribbon and the one on the other side of the window is pin straight and flat. So I really did a number on it. And the 'ribbon' isn't inside anything, it just lays flat against the track, hooks into the shoe at the bottom (shoe that is currently on the counter) and we think it's supposed to loop up inside of the piece at the top. I'm guessing the tension when it got its freedom made it retract too fast to loop inside like it was supposed to.
Picture time!
