I think it depends on the situation and maturity. Both on board with being **** buddies and will be mature about it inside and outside of work? Probably shouldn't but whatever. Now I wouldn't count every single person in your company out. Maybe if they are outside of your directorate go for it.

I guess in my opinion of both of you are mature, why not? You are both adults.

As far as dating in the workplace, the probability of success compared to horrible failure rivals our football team's chances of winning a National Championship.

Just imagine the worst possible break-up possible. Then imagine the possibility of seeing that person again. Then imagine that person either becoming your boss or being a friend of your boss. Even if you're in a large company, the chances of you dealing with someone directly or indirectly are going to catch up to you.

And that's not even touching on the subject of possible sexual harassment suits and the effects that could have on future employment. I have two sisters as HR directors that could scare the hell outta you with some of their stories.

I just met with someone in their office. She had a Hawkeye football poster, tiger hawk background on their computer and desk phone and had "In heaven there is no beer" as their ringtone.

I debated going home to shower when I left.

Good news for Rulzzz and some of you trying to drink less soda. Coke funded "research" says drink more, eat more, exercise more. No need to cut back on da soda!

Not everyone is drinking the Coke Kool-Aid though. :)

Nestle is currently working on a book about the soda industry, where she says the practice of funding self-serving studies is particularly troublesome. She estimates that 90 percent of studies about soda that were funded by the soda industry conclude that soda isn't all that bad for you. Among studies funded by everyone else, 90 percent found that just the opposite is true.

"Am I surprised that a soda company has its hand in some self-serving research?" No," Nestle said sternly. "It's par for course."

Exhibit B for not dating in the work place

I should probably stop watching the golf and go for my bike ride. It's heading for the mid-90's for heat index. Already doing the heat and humidity thingy.
