The real question is how long before you call him a *****.

I read this right as I am needing to "spread" rep and it somehow made me feel dirty.

Carvers just totally used me to rep me for something just so she could spread the rep around and give it to someone else.

You know you love it when old ladies use you.

she did that to me too. So who does she really want to give her rep to?

Trying to rep Rev back. And I don't know how many I had to go through to get there. Tried using Rulzzz, as everything he says is rep worthy, but that would require further spreading. Think I went through Boxster, Sara, and GTO in addition to you guys.

She was extra hurtful with mine. Repped a post where I was talking about 55 flirting with me, then I see her rep note that says "lol, not really."

I realized the irony right before I hit send and thought WTH, Pants can deal.

Clearly, she's in the WDSM camp of people here that don't want me to be able to make this happen.

Not at all. Would love to see you and Nickels both happy.

Not me....I got a fake rep, too...but I take what I get and don't look at motives.

And that's a lovely thing, your positive outlook.

stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinkybeans. That's what we figured too. It was a nice gentle rain much of the afternoon and we were like sweet! Then a couple downpours and we were yelling at the rain to stahp.

They do have straw mats in some of the more erosion prone areas. Maybe we'll get a bag tomorrow and do some touch ups after the rain goes through in the afternoon. Can we literally just sprinkle it out there in areas we think need it or do we need to be all meticulous about it? I don't want to use a spreader thing because a. don't want anything out there but my feet if I can help it and b. we don't have one.

I'm not a lawn expert but I'd just sprinkle it out there. The more important thing I think would be to try to prevent it from washing away in the first place.

*edit - The hydroseed grass should start growing within a week or so from planting. So barring a bunch of heavy downpours, you should be alright, but adding seed and covering lightly with hay probably wouldn't hurt.

My son's baseball team, which had won only four games all year, won their first playoff game last night. They beat a team 12-2 that they had been ten-runned by twice earlier this year. We are rewarded for this victory by getting to travel to lovely St. Cloud, Minnesota on Monday Night after work.

This is the emotional struggle of parenthood. You are happy that your child won his game and advanced in the playoffs. However, it sure would be nice to get your Summer back a little bit earlier.

Parents of younger kids, be prepared for this. Being a parent is a blast but be prepared for this moral struggle.

Just be glad he isn't playing travel ball. I remember playing 70+ games in the summer.

yeah I'm not seeing big chances of heavy rain after tomorrow, so I'm hoping we'll be good for a week or so to let it get in there a bit.

Thanks for the advice. Can I catch up on my lack of beers? Would having several tonight help ease the strain of my nutritional deficiency?

I consider beer to be a vitamin...so over a certain amount, it's not beneficial to your body, because your body can't make use of that much good stuff. I'm afraid you're going to have to just be rigorous about your supplement regimen (having a beer a day) until you feel improvement. And don't forget those naps...short, low impact activities combined with long, intense periods of rest is the core tenant of LIIT.

And Carvers, to your mailbox question...yes, that would qualify, if you got a lot of junk mail that you had to carry all the way back to the kitchen or something.

He is playing travel ball but only at the 12 year old AA level. They're only playing about 25-30 games a year at this time. 70+? Oh dear god. I can't even imagine that.

This gets more difficult with multiple kids too. I have had to enlist my brothers to go to some of the events when my husband and I can't cover everything.
