Husband will get to spend about 4 hours outside today, starting right before 3pm.

Poor guy.

Church complex is air conditioned, and I noticed as everyone was leaving, the inside door was fogging up as the cool, dry inside air was hitting the hot/humid outside air.

Been keeping my tuck-under garage door closed as much as possible (mosquitoes and heat out!) and it has stayed quite cool. Pulled out last night to run to the grocery and the Boxstermobile instantly fogged up inside and out when I pulled out. So, driving down the street with wipers on wiping the "dew" off.

Got 2-3 more hours at work. Kitchen seems hotter than yesterday. At least i'm losing some weight from all the sweating I'm doing.

Keep drinking water! I drank more last night before bed too, to try and keep up my water level. Ugh, I'm still going to class and exercise this afternoon. Hopefully it won't be too humid.

So........it's bad that I've seen 23 of the 30 of those movies then?

Are Romy and Michelle or Clueless REALLY a chick flick though? I'd call them 90s comedies that happen to have female leads.

I got up at 9:00 and I am not weeding today. Choice is go for bike ride or work landscape. Biking wins especially since everything is pretty damn wet here after last night.

I post my Map My Ride stats* for you later!

*Okay, not really but I did start saving them out of curiosity to see estimated calories burned. Way more than those winter 30 minutes on the exercise bike.

:swoon: You must remember how insane my arrogant brother in law makes me with his Map My Run updates twice a day.

I've seen 21 of the 30. I'm not sure what to make of that...

Maybe we would both feel better thinking these were really bro movies? I even counted Sleepless in Seattle even though I slept through most of it and my husband woke me up at the Empire State Building part. Without that, I am tied with Sara.

I've seen most parts of 11 of those movies.

Had to run home to have an inspector come through. Landscaping is finally there. It's humid as balls out there. And slightly muddy.

It was downright pleasant the last three days.

You have no idea. Or do you?....

I have had my fingers crossed they could even do it with rain coming through your way. Seems like a logical reason not to leave it until the very last day.

home in the comforts of air conditioning.

Came home from the store and the mere sight of the Alliant Energy truck on our street sent me into prayer. We frequently have squirrel near the transformer issues according to them. But power and air were going strong.

Last night between 1-5am I did not know how the hell they could possibly do it. Talked to the bank right away and backed away from the ledge. Talked to builder peeps and they are A. not happy with landscaper persons B. apologetic and put some good things in writing to the bank about taking care of extra fees we may need. While they did recognize their scheduling was poor, tried to put some blame on the bank for not allowing super long escrow and DH and I shot that **** down. Hard to blame something you've known about for 45 days.

We now have a plan A for if they get done tomorrow, and a plan B if we need to do a short escrow. Both involve us closing Saturday and keeping our rate. Everyone agreed that we shall keep our rate and they were more concerned about extra fees that may come up. I'm like not even thinking about a couple extra fees..........I only cared about the rate! So to know everyone is confident that will be fine has brought my blood pressure (and DH's) down dramatically.

I don't know if I mentioned that they stayed for a grand total of 45 minutes on Saturday. We had to leave and saw them leave - assumed it meant owner dude was on his way since he said he would do the grading. Got home at 9pm and realized not a freaking thing had been done since 2pm and it was going to rain last night. I couldn't even hardly post here that night or yesterday. I was a furious person, that was fo sho.

I've only seen 7 of those films.

Not quite sure what that says of me.

Looks like you and C4M have some catching up to do if you want to retain your Chick Cards (aka the No Bro Card).
I've seen 15 and don't want to be viewed as twice as girlie as you.
