I watched "A Trip to the Moon" last night on Netflix. Filmed in 1902. I've never taken LSD or licked poisonous frogs before, but I'd imagine that this little flick would be great for that kind of thing.

Not that it's overly related, but way back when Pantsy used to smoke pot, I watched the Blair Witch Project while high and it was the most terrifying thing I'd ever seen. Then I watched it sober and swore it was a completely different movie than the one I previously watched.

really ****** day today, worst day I've had in a while. Guess tomorrow is another day though. Snitched out my friend at work and got him fired, damn my conscious.

Was it something that needed to be reported? If so, don't feel bad, he's the one that was breaking the rules. You can't hold yourself responsible for other people's poor decisions.

Hang in there, Cash. Sucks to feel like the bad guy for doing the right thing, but your own reputation is worth it.

I personally wouldn't snitch out a friend at work unless it made my job in some way harder.

While sitting in your lawn chair and drinking a beer?

Yep. Kind of like this

I would say yes, but other people will disagree. The only reason he got a job in the first place was that I was already working there (boss said that today). I was picking him up today and he walked outside clearly drunk and told me to tell them that he was really sick instead. He is a really heavy drinker, and has shown up at work drunk every day he was working there.

I go into the boss' office to talk about pay and she asks why he didn't show today. I came out and told her about his drinking problem. I couldn't risk getting myself fired along with him and she told me everyone noticed and that she was seeing if she could trust me. I think I made the right move but he deserved it. I'm a patient guy but he was really pushing it as I have covered him from trouble multiple times.

Think I'm going to work somewhere else anyways. Had a job I wanted today that was basically doubling my pay call and say thanks but no thanks. Some depression is coming in that I haven't had since the past, doing better this evening.

I think she was feeding you full of crap with the "seeing if she could trust you" line, but I see no wrong in what you did. Maybe it'll be a wakeup call to him?

Uhh, yeah, I think you made the right call. And in that context, I wouldn't call it snitching, I'd say you were put in a bad situation by your friend, your boss pushed it such that your options were lie to her or out him.
