Well, the game isn't impromptu, but us attending is.
11 and two half boxes packed. One room done for now.......though that room was the other bathroom and didn't have much in it to start with. Oh well, progress!
Come on CG. It took me three days to box up my entire house in Indiana before moving here. I feel like you're just slacking off.
I sold all of the big stuff, like my living room set, bed, office desk and dressers. All of the other stuff is boxed up and in the garage of my mom's place. I took inventory of what was going in each box and numbered it so if I need or want something, I can just say, "this is in box number whatever" and she doesn't have to dig through it all to send it. I moved here with nothing more than two suitcases.
See this is what I would do too. All my **** can fit in two rubbermaid tubs with the exception of my computer and bed.
What sucked was how little I got from what I sold. I couldn't really be too picky because I was on a deadline. I had a three piece leather living room set that I paid 3k for and I think I only got 500 total back when I sold it.
But yeah, I didn't even have a place lined up when I moved here, so I didn't have any choice but to just bring some clothes and a few personal belongings. I only had a vacation rental for 10 days, too, so I had a very tight timeline to find a place to live. Really took a huge leap of faith in a lot of different ways and luckily it all worked out.
I guess I should have included the post of yours that my "animal house" quote post was responding to, but I can't just come out and say it, you know?
shoot, I'm not even numbering stuff. Though we are moving like 8 miles. I can understand it in your case.
I'm taking my time packing. If I needed to move next week, I'd move a lot faster. Right now it's a lot of "do we need this" yes, pack, no throw away, and will we need it in the next month so we don't pack up stuff we need to use yet.
just put my only black dress in the donate pile after DH said the only place I would possibly wear it would be to an Amish funeral.
We both agreed I'd probably go buy a new black dress before wearing this one. Also think I may have gotten in it middle school.

Starting tomorrow. You don't need to know GoT really. But EVERYONE is going to be in 5 different mafias. So that will be different and fun.
Bad things happen to almost everyone in GoT.
