Yeah, but back then there were also no laws saying 10 year olds couldn't work in factories. Times have changed, KC.

Hi Derek! My name's Little Cletus and I'm here to tell you a few things about child labor laws, ok? They're silly and outdated. Why back in the 30s, children as young as five could work as they pleased; from textile factories to iron smelts. Yippee! Hurray!

All this talk about babies.

My fiance currently has baby fever. She's ready to start trying shortly after the honeymoon.

There are 8 women pregnant at the school she works at right now. Not a big school either. Almost all the ladies are that mid to late 20s age where everyone is pregnant all the time. I told her the principal should make them get preggo in cycles, so they aren't all gone at the same time. Of course the principal is currently on maternity leave.
Babies everywhere. My son's sequel is coming out around the end of July.

My seven year old niece kept asking her parents why her friends could be out of a car seat and she couldn't yet. It's height and weight.

As for the belt sitting correctly, I doubt mine does.

Some adults could benefit from a booster honestly. As long as they can still reach the pedals.

My nearly 8 year old still has a booster seat. It really does put the seat belt in the right position so it doesn't pull on their neck.

I keep a bungie loop in my car. When I put my seatbelt on, I pass the shoulder strap/lap belt part through the loop, then buckle it. I then pull the loop over so that it pulls the shoulder part over to the left a bit.

Shoulder straps were designed for the average person. In every car with a shoulder strap that I have ever driven over the years, it didn't matter how it was designed or attached to the seat or door frame. The shoulder strap ALWAYS cuts me across the neck. Short body plus big bewbs (yes, I said it again) makes it difficult to position the shoulder strap.

Yeah, we are thinking we will shoot for the end of the school year too. Have all summer plus six weeks off.

Combined with the baby fever is the GIRL BABY FEVER. My mother has 3 grandsons and her mom has no grandkids at all. My brother and his wife aren't planning on having any more kids so the pressure's all on me to deliver the pink chosen one.

My mom, mother-in-law, sister, and sister-in-law, are all going to freak out if we have a girl. It will be a pink explosion.

No pressure on me or anything though. Thanks a lot.

If we end up having a boy I'm guessing my gal will want to have more than one baby. YAY! Four kids (at least) in one house!

It's do-able - and ours were boys. :)

I can loan your mom some of our grandkids...15 girls & one boy. It's like a sea of pink when a bunch of them are together!

It appears I have a lot to learn about how long kids are in car seats/boosters.

We have a infant carrier seat and chose a reversible car seat that said that it would work for infant to 30-40lbs I think.

The reversible seat should last until she gets too tall or meets requirements, I think.

I was born in '55. Just sayin'...

40 lb kid will not want to sit in that seat. Just saying. A high back booster is much more acceptable to 4 year olds and such. My 6 and 8 year olds are at 50lbs (yes they weigh the same) right now and are in backless boosters.

She was too small for it until she was about 9 months old.

That's probably true. I can't see her wanting to be in it past 5.

Yeah that's a lot of kids. My older brother and his wife had troubles getting pregnant and are happy with just their one boy. My older sister is happy being single with dogs.
My fiance's brother is never going to have kids even if he does find someone. Personal reasons.

That leaves me and Sam to give the families The Pink Child. Her mom just wants a grandbaby period. She loves my boys, but she wants to hold a little one that Sam made. My mom just wants that little girl.

The best line is the "reach around" one which we cannot use here. :)

Everything R Lee Ermy says in that movie is gold.

Oh that's right, Private Pyle, don't make any ******* effort to get to the top of the ******* obstacle. If God would have wanted you up there he would have miracled your *** up there by now, wouldn't he?
