Had the details of who needed to be where/when worked out between hubby and me with multiple kid activities tonight until the 2yr old woke up from nap with a major fever. Total change of plans, and I have to miss oldest's band concert. And you realize the 2yr pretty much touches/spits on/coughs on/sneezes on/germs up every single thing in the house. Trying to keep te older 2 healthy with a trip to the Omaha Zoo for one on Thursday and both going to The Lion King Saturday.

Good luck! I hope they can still go to the Lion King and 2yo gets well quickly.

There's currently multiple pics up on my Facebook I don't remember taking at formal. They're not terrible so I guess I'll leave em up #College?

Oh but you're so wrong
That was just Pants bait. :jimlad:

I actually spent time on both. When in Panama, my hometown was on the Pacific Ocean side, when I lived in Puerto Rico, of course it was all Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea.

Fun fact: The Pacific Ocean sits lower than the Atlantic Ocean. Hence why the Panama Canal needs locks and is not just a straight way across.

Dunno about the overall "betterness", but I can guarandamteeya that Atlantic beaches are warmer than Pacific beaches, at least as far as the continental US is concerned...

But the tidepools in the PNW are MUCH more entertaining to play in. :)

Ha, didn't catch onto that. My roots are in Seattle and the farthest east we go is Tennessee so I'm a little biased ;)

I'm headed to Seattle for work in June. Always wanted to check out the city, but unfortunately will only be there for 2-3 days.

I agree. I had heard "South Pacific" and assumed that meant Hawai'i too, but apparently not.

Have fun!

Between winter, blackfly, and skeeter season, it's usable 2 weeks a year.

Midwest lake beaches are for kids and dogs. I have lived next door to this beach for decades and never used it because the only dogs I had were basenjis. Basenjis are notorious for hating the water.

This may not end well for the sponsorship i was working on with Pacific Rim wine.

alternate sponsor?
