I asked him his source for all of this top-notch info and he say that he's on Twitter a lot and he's an avid member on CF. When I asked him what his username was, he immediately got defensive and wouldn't tell me. Apparently he's a superhero and his secret identity is everything.

He asked me mine. I told him I was imjustkcclone

You can thank me later

Has to be him...

I was watching the game last night with a bunch of friends. One of the guys I didn't know started talking about ISU so I was chatting a bit with him. He was ok at first, but he started getting really overbearing pretty quick (talking in definites) about what recruits we were getting, Fred going to the NBA, Matt A stealing recruits, etc

Did he give off the air of a mall security guard? Did he remind you of Rod Farva?

Clones21 in the flesh!

Someone brought Peeps in from Easter. Guys sits next to me just confessed that it was just an experiment to see if ANYONE would actually eat any.
Some have been eaten!

Why the **** do people do this kind of ****? Don't try and tell my kid, or anyone else for that matter, who to root for.

I don't care if you're "joking around" because behind that you are serious.

And I know I am biased but it seems to be a lot more prevalent from Hawk fans than the other way around. The arrogant, jack ***, attitude is one of the main things I hate about Hawk fans. I don't give a crap that your team wins more football games than Iowa State. If that was the only reason to root for a team then no one would chose Iowa State OR Iowa.

Oh, and when my 8 year old is asked about the Hawkeyes, he replies with "BOO HAWKEYES!"

End of rant. Go about your business.

Heh...I get your rage, but this was pretty benign. Guy is from town and goes to our church, and is active in service projects at the church. Mrs. 00clone and the boys see him at story time at the library every week, his kids are right around our boys' age. She said he always talks to Joe. While I don't personally know him, he seems like a pretty good guy, so I'm sure it wasn't jackarsery. Our close friends, one went to Iowa and one went to several different schools over the years, he roots for both but at heart is an ISU fan from his parents. We give each other grief all the time. It'd be totally different, and I'd agree with you if it was some rando stranger, and that has happened here, and it did pizz me off, especially when the oldest was young enough that he didn't understand this stranger suddenly approaching and lightly confronting him. With people he knows, he's old enough to stand up to them, it seems, but with strangers, he'd still be weird about it, and that's not okay.

Ok, I've witnessed complete strangers telling little kids that they need a new shirt if they are wearing ISU gear. Stupid crap like that.

Yeah, that's still wrong. Should have been more precise in my statement, but just wanted to post it quick. Didn't put in all the details because the fam was all together and I try and not get on here when that's the case, but wanted to share that one quickly.

Oh but now that you are at work it is okay? ;)

Heh...actually, I do it for MY sanity, believe it or not...when I first started here, in a support role (different than mine now), there were some minions that started an hour and a half before my start time, so if I came in at that time, I had 5 or 6 things to deal with the moment I got in and I felt behind all day. But, if I got in at the early time, it just flowed.

That continued when I was a manager, if I got in at the start of the shift, I was scrambling to make plans, but if I got there an hour or 2 early, I had my **** together and had a nice night.

Now, I'm backing off from where I once was, but I still feel more relaxed if I have that time to set the stage and prepare before I have to be on the ball.
