Personally......and this is just a hunch....but I think Nader will be much improved next year. Needs to work on his 3 point shooting consistency, but that can be done over the summer. Also, Burton is a complete unknown. He may shine in this offense.
Where do you envision each of them playing? I see them both in the "Hogue spot" or for lack of a better indicator the "3" in terms of what they are guarding on defense.
Who are you trying to fool? Us or yourself? Williams would have been a huge addition, and will be wherever he goes.
The positive thing is we already have a good 8 man rotation with or without him, and still can improve it with one or two of our four open scholarships.

Nader needs to be a lot more consistent to carry the day. His three point shooting was not good anyway you analyze it. Many of the balls floated to either side, not just clunked off the rim. He is a much better slasher than three point shooter.
If Fred was as bothered by this as some of you guys are, he wouldn't have patted this kid on the *** and let him go play with Abdelmassih.
Huh? You release a kid because he doesn't want to be here. Doesn't mean he patted him and "let" him go play with Matt.
We didn't have to release him from it, and we could have put restrictions on where he goes like most schools would.
I wouldn't be surprised if we never see Fred put restrictions on a kid who wants out, regardless of how he feels about it.
Reports are that Fred was ok with it, not sure if that's because he just sees it as how things go, not concerned with losing Williams in pRticular, or cause its (may be) Matt.
Moreover, can you put restrictions on a LOI release like a transfer? Not even sure how that works.
I think Fred knows that he has made a lot of hay on the transfer market with kids who feel like they aren't in the right situation and he is loathe to put shackles on a kid who just doesn't feel like he is in the right situation for him at Iowa State.
If national evaluaters think he is the top JUCO in the country, that is a pretty reasonable opinion.
Fred isn't going to beg any player to stay... Doesn't mean he didn't want him to stay.
Nah I'm pretty sure every player is equally bad until they prove it at Iowa State. No such thing as a good recruit.
2 years ago. I think the consensus among the evaluation guys is that IF he would have played last year and IF he hadn't of had double shoulder surgery he COULD HAVE BEEN the top JUCO in the country.
I'd argue that he's already the most consistent 3 pointer shooter on the team. Hopefully he's less consistent next year and makes a few more.
