I'm not sure if you're saying this all happened because of the loss to UAB, but I'm pretty sure all this would have went down the same way, unless maybe Iowa St made it to the final four.

And ironically, the person they are crapping on was a vital factor in getting the team to where it is now, and arguably had the 2nd largest hand in the rebuilding of Iowa State basketball.
