While we're on this topic, I haven't even thought about where I'm having mine.

we had ours at the in-laws. Not that there were a lot of local options anyway. It was summer so relatives in town but not attending the rehearsal grilled food for us. It was a nice time. Been to one at a country club, groom's parents.

I've been to rehearsal dinners that were grill outs. I've also been to rehearsal dinners where suit and tie were required.

yeah I was thinking that's what mine have been too. Not much in the middle. Not sure where DH's brother is having his, but prolly not the GC. I'd put grilling far above that though.

I have three slides done for a 10am presentation......though I'm probably not til closer to 11. We have to go look at likely poopy flooring at 7:30am and I have another meeting at 9. I feel like the odds of having actual slides at go time are low. I mostly know what I want to say in my head though plus I got a few attagirls on my Tuesday one so it'll average out, right?

For mine we rented a shelter at one of the local parks and had HyVee cater?

Was relaxing, kids (and some that are "bigger kids" and Boxsterish at heart) all got to play at the park and was a nice experience.

We were thinking about doing something at Ada Hayden, since we're getting married not too far from that park.
