I can't stand talking to someon if they overuse any variation of lol or haha in any form of communication.

I don't have a problem with that as I probably overuse those in text conversations lol but lmao is just something I can't stand. Haha!

One of the early acronyms on message boards was for "rolling on floor, laughing", or ROFL. My sister struggles sometimes with acronyms, and consistently typed it as ROLF...which is a 70's term for vomit. Scrambling the L & F kinda changes the meaning juuuuuust a bit, you know? :)

A program I use at work almost daily lately won't work with the latest version of Java, which is totes dumb, because it's not web related atall, and my company has a check and auto update of Java that I can't turn off...so I have a couple times a week routine of uninstalling and reinstalling the older version of Java...which is fun.

Tacky? Definitely.

Money saver? Absolutely. Which should make the future in laws happy.

I have on who has been home sick most of the week. Took her in yesterday and she has pneumonia. She was craving a cheeseburger last night, but we have no fast food near us. We were out and about tonight so got Culver's for me and the three youngest. All this talk about pop--a fountsin Dr. Pepper sounded good. And cheeseballs. Except those were cold by the time we got home.

I'm a fourth year medical student and today is my last day on this Emergency Medicine rotation. All I can say is how thankful I am that I'll never before forced to remove an actively vibrating, neon flashing ***** from a man's rectum again. :GEEK:

Yay!

Went to kiss the husband when he came in from work. Got a static shock on the lips. Ow.

You're not married to this guy are you?

When I went in to the doc in late December I found out I had mycoplasma pneumonia (walking pneumonia). At that time, he told me that there was a particularly aggressive strain making the rounds. Since then I've known six different people to come down with it in the last few weeks. Pretty stubborn crap, I must say!

I hope your little one is feeling better soon. Hungry is a GOOD sign! :)
