Run through the possibilities using mred's generator and there are many favorable scenarios where ISU holds on to the 2 seed, and a few are out there where ISU grabs the number 1 seed. KU is the traveling team on Big Monday again.....Now the trip to the Little Apple is nothing compared to the trip to West Vagina. And KSU laid an egg in Ft Worth-less. But you never know. KU does travel to OU to close the season, and a lot rides on that game for ISU.

But ISU has some breathing room now with the win at Stillwater! Play like that again in Austin, and we got a shot!

Only chance of a 1 seed is for us to win out, and for KU to lose at OU. If we win out and KU loses to someone other than OU, I'm pretty sure we'd be a 2 seed (and cochamps)

Kansas is going to lose to K-State and OU and we win out. Thought our last losses would be at OU and at Texas but since beat them we are going to win out!

Wish it were true, but KSU is a basket case right now...

In this scenario shouldn't ISU get the #1 seed based on our record against #5 WVU? We are 2-0, KU is 1-1 against WVU. WVU is higher in the final standings. Maybe I don't understand the tie-breaker rules, but this looks like a bug in mred's generator (not that it affected the seeding, so not a big deal, but still doesn't seem right)

Baylor and WV tied for 4th. Since KU went 2-0 against Baylor and 1-1 against WV, and ISU went 2-0 against WV and 1-1 against Baylor (assumed ISU wins Tuesday), both ISU and KU are 3-1 against the 4th place teams.

WVU and Baylor have the same record, so the games against both are considered together. KU and ISU would both be 3-1 against those two teams.

Basically, we need one of the following two scenarios to get the one seed:

- Finish ahead of KU (obviously)
OR
1) Finish with the same record as KU &
2) Beat OU &
3) OU beats KU &
4) West Virginia ends up at least tied with Baylor

#4 eliminates the advantage that KU has over us by sweeping Baylor. If WVU and Baylor end up tied, Oklahoma State is likely the next tiebreaker, and we have the advantage over KU there as well.

There are some other crazy scenarios where KU beats OU again and we still get the 1 seed, but it isn't very likely (OU would have to lose out).
