Just in case anyone is missing it in the Chris turd thread, CG has professed her love for Miracle Whip over Mayo. I just wanted everyone to know this shocking secret, I feel it should not be hidden anymore.

so your opening there made me remember a story I forgot to say this morning. Did anyone catch that thread about bad drivers? So in there I had complained about a spot in my commute (actually, there are two of them, but whatever) where it goes down to two lanes and people try to rush in front of you instead of pulling in behind with plenty of space. So this morning I'm getting to one of those spots and I can tell the car next to me is going to pull that stunt.

They do, and I let them in. Their license plate - KTHXBAI

hey, WDSM said it first. And I like it when they call it "aioli". Especially on a burger with words like "chipotle". So I guess I like elitist mayo. But just Miracle Whip at home.

Stuff just got real. My son just called - his two younger daughters have tested positive and been diagnosed with whooping cough. Both are current on immunizations at ages 2 and turning 5 on Monday; two older sisters and mom & dad are not showing any symptoms but the whole family is on prophylactic antibiotics. They've been sick for seven to ten days. He says they're doing fine...not to worry. Yeah. I'm a grandma. It's part of our job description.

so they even had the vaccine already?! Gosh, hope they all recover quickly. Makes your blood boil then after some of the comments in that other thread.

That it does. And yes. Son actually called me to verify that he had been vaccinated, and I just said "your dad held a PhD in microbiology and immunology. Did you really think you wouldn't have been?"

had he gotten a booster at all? I think they were finding that the pertussis one is wearing off a lot faster than they thought.

Nope. He had just learned of that today at the doc. I knew they were saying at least a year ago to get an MMR booster but I didn't think anything of it because I have natural immunity through having all of them. Ididn't know that the DTaP (DTP when he got it) was weakening also. That's their plan (him & wife) - to get boosters as soon as they're done with the antibiotics.
