The more I find out the more horrified of what is about to happen.

You'll forget every bit of it as soon as you see that fuzzy little head crowning. Besides, your wife is doing all the hard stuff! :)

The most important thing to remember is that your wife loves you (no matter what names she calls you). :jimlad: (sort of)

Trying to differentiate between real and braxston hicks is frustrating.
Thankfully those felt very different than the real contractions. For me the Braxton Hick was more of a tightening at the top if the belly. Real contractions were low and more of a squeezing, like a cramp. And I forget what the percentage of women is who has their water break, but I wasn't in that percentage ever.

Ladies, anyone else out there have one come out face-up?
I know the second had trouble around her shoulders, but don't think she was face-up.

Drugs make things so much better. ;) I didn't have the good stuff with our second and immediately after she was born I thought to myself, I am NOT doing that again. Ha!

And now commercials with 30 year old Blondie tunes. Back story is cool. Hubby posted video of his dental hygentist wife rapping and next thing you know she is in a commercial doing this:

Kinda funny but cooler knowing she isn't a real actress.

Kids really do say the darndest things. We are sitting here and one of the 3 y/o girls in my wife's day care goes to the bathroom. A few minutes later we just hear her singing "Let it go!"

Saw this last night and was surprised that KC never let on to us that she is prominently featured in the new Android commercial playing her original orangutan character.

My ex-wife almost broke my hand. So it's not always pain free for the father.

I can see papalew being an old hound dog too.

Men always give her four fingers to clamp on to, which hurts at the knuckles.

The key is to give her two fingers (index and middle) to clamp on to with her hand.

We joked about taking in the Xbox in and letting him set it up. Thankfully we didn't do that.

The second time was more painful for me. that may be the grief talking though......

I am a woman of many, many talents. :)

And the old hound dog is pretty spot on for PapaLew, too.

I feel bad for our new employee. He didn't know that Ames was pretty much already full and apartments would be hard to find here. He doesn't want to look at the smaller towns near by

With me working in Des Moines, and the fiancee working in Ames, we're going to be looking at the smaller towns in between when it comes to finding an apartment. Won't be as many options, but we figure the cost of living won't be as much.
