If one more person asks if we are "doing the stuff to induce labor" I may punch them.

I don't ask people that question, but if they post of FB that they are ready for the kid to come out I am okay with posting ideas on it. Their other friends do too. I figure then they're 'asking' for ways to go into labor.

As for Valentines, we really don't do anything. Sometimes we eat out, but we might eat out anyway. DQ's heart shaped ice cream cake sounds interesting.

You want random? Three subjects, one post!

Seeing the article about the cows in the car, plus a coworker having a compact car now. (I THINK her SUV is in the shop) My dad took their Toyota Highlander into the dealer for work. They gave him a Yaris as a loaner.

My dad's 6'3". My 8yo niece came outside to look at it and said "Awww. It's a baby car!"

Binkys/pacis - I have to give it to my sister...my niece was off needing a "nyuk" (what we called it in our family because of the brand name) just after turning one. I went out for lunch with my mom and sister, and we saw a family come in with a 4yo girl still having a pacifier in her mouth. We all exchanged silent "Are you kidding me?" looks. I also remember visiting with friends to watch a football game, and they were starting to break their then 2yo son of his binky. Sometime that evening, he tripped and hit his head on a hard part of the couch. After the initial wail, and then silent open mouth scream, the next word was "BINKY!" Yeah, they let him have it. Poor kiddo.

My husband gets to work all day on Valentine's Day...so with that...who wants to sit next to me for WVU?

Just got a text about an hour ago letting us know we had a new niece. No warning of going into the hospital, just a "she's here!". My SIL made it through the Boston blizzard plus another foot of snow out there plus a couple days past her due date. I tried not to be obnoxious about asking, just posted on FB on Groundhog's Day about being pregnant for another 6 weeks (she was due on Groundhog's Day). We kept meaning to FaceTime them since the IL's are currently out there visiting to help with the 2yr old and new baby, but by the time our whole family is together at night and done with supper, I'm sure their 2yr old is long in bed east coast time.

We had one that was 5 days overdue and still had to be induced (the amniotic fluid levels were too low). Trust me, a lot of home methods don't work and there were some I was not willing to try (castor oil).

I just ate a whole pizza for lunch.

Ditto. Long drives on country gravel roads in a pick-up with bad springs is another goody. :)

Seems they're more eager to induce nowadays than in the past. My sister was finally induced when she was nearly four weeks past due date - and it WAS an accurate due date based on her baby's state of development and size.

4 WEEKS!!!! Holy crap!

The fiance and I aren't going out on V-Day because we have my boys that weekend. We'll probably have a heart shaped pizza with them.

We'll probably go out on Sunday night after they go back to mom's though.
