no! It's a ranch! No long hallways!

Oh. So kind of like this? Looks nostalgic.

I tried to get everyone to meet up here, but no one was having any of it.

Get the Clones into the Maui invitational & PapaLew & I will be on your doorstep begging for couch space. :)

Oh wait...wrong island. OK, who's down for sharing a multibedroom condo for a week on Maui? If Pantsy locates it & brokers the deal he can have the couch for free! :)

How many points did you score last night? I was watch the white mambas lose.
I dropped a whopping 2 points. Only took one shot. The other team was playing a 2-3 zone and I'm one of our point guards, spent most of my time passing around the perimeter/trying to get the ball into the middle. We won something like 30-18.

Done. I can get us the kama'aina rate.

First off, let me just marvel in CyRev using "eviscerated". That's some strong language coming from her.

Secondly, we need to have an RT thread meet up at a game during pregame or halftime sometime this season.

Thirdly, cooler, the story about your (former) coworker is just...wonky.

I'm good with that - for the some of us that are local and go to the games.
(Miss Z is a little doll, btw!)

Hubby and I and another couple have already talked about this as well. It will fall after our 20yr anniversary the next time we are eligible to play. My parents have timeshare time at various locations, hoping it works out for reals.

You're ****ed. And your workplace will be just as haunted as your house being built on an ancient Indian burial ground.

OK, ghost story, happening now.

My cousin just finishing a house on a section of long-owned family farmland in Madison County. Something like 80 acres, and about half is tillable, so where it's not farmable, they broke out some plots for houses for some of the extended family.

Well, now that they are moving in, there is stuff going on. Son saw a "flash of light" racing into the house when he opened the garage door. Husband has heard noises and noticed stuff moved around. They have seen some other strange things, once though he thought he saw an Indian in a reflection in the window, turned around, nothing.
Spookiest one - my cousin was on the couch watching TV, home alone, with her dog. Dog sat up and started staring over her shoulder, not growling, but kind of alert and on point. Stayed that way for several minutes, would not respond to my cousin talking to it. Like dog was staring at someone who shouldn't be there. Super creepy and scared her to death. She could NOT look back. Eventually the dog relaxed and she got courage to get up, but nothing.

This is not a superstitious, new age, or uneducated couple. But they are freaking out, more than a little. No reason to believe it's a burial ground of any kind, and the land has been in the family for like 50 years and never anything odd.

I'm totes gonna haunt CG's house like this.

When my niece was 3 or so she used to complain about what she called "Knock Knock" or something she would see outside of her window or hear in her closet. We never paid much attention to it and I guess one night she woke my brother up screaming bloody murder. He got up to check on her and when he turned the lights on, there was a trail of maggots that went from her closet door to the back door. And not like, scattered about. Thousands that looked like they'd been dumped on a path.

So I love me some Costco hot dogs. Dolla-fiddy for a 1/4 # hot dog or Polish and a pop. Today, we were shopping there and lo-and-behold...now, in addition to the hot dogs and polishes, they have BRATS! And not just any brats, USINGER'S brats (admittedly only possibly CG will know that name, but Usinger's is in Downtown Milwaukee, they know how to make brats, plus they still make all the old stuff: head cheese, Mortadella, Braunschweiger, etc.)

I can't tell you how many dolla-fiddy brats I'm going to be eating in the next year.

Sorry, not my words specifically. Though it was very dis-crip-tive. I should have used quotes. The article was good when it was still up.

The neighborhood I grew up in is called moundview. Literally live a stones throw from a burial mond big enough to sled on.
