It was a good test to see how massively CG would fail in a life or death situation, without anyone getting seriously hurt.

the odd thing is I've been the one who is calm and in control for other serious situations like this. I did do the lift his chin and check his pulse thing but I was just massively freaking out inside. And apparently in my voice. DH said it was a test to see if I really loved him, ha.

welp, I just aged 50 years. Got DH home in one piece, he goes in to rinse the blood out (no, not actually rinse, just let some water dribble out) I go to get out his jello and hear a loud clatter. Go back around and he's on the floor and it looks disturbingly like he's having a seizure. I get him to come to, he's confused as ****, and then goes back out again. Comes to again while I call the doctor. It was just a faint (please no 'omg what a wimp' jokes, I can't handle that right now)- probably because he's already been eating nothing this week, was sedated and hadn't been standing. But holy ****, that was easily the most terrifying two minutes of my life. Apparently he could hear me, just not respond at all. Said I have to work on my "panicked" voice and not say his name so much. I thought I sounded in control, lol. Was just trying to get him to respond to me.

Dang here was my chance!

Glad to hear he is doing better CG.

When I had my wisdom teeth taken out I asked for hickory park right after. After a couple hours of sleeping I had to pee like no other. Five hours after thr procedure I woke up without any pain and never looked back.

tl;dr

if it's about DH though, omg, what a wimp.

Ok. I hate suggesting something worse, but I err on the side of caution with stuff like that.

I've only ever fainted once. My friend said it was possibly the most grace-less thing he's seen in his entire life. Just one of many time that I feel very fortunate to have gone through college before youtube was invented.

I've only passed out once. I was in 9th grade and I stood up too fast when I got out of a living room chair to grab breakfast. My mom and sister freaked out while my twin brother just walked right by and grabbed his food.

CG, hope he gets feeling better, but I wouldn't trust him to be stable right away. Like everybody else said keep an eye on him and lots of rest and fluids.

My daughter had a pajama day at her elementary school today so I wrote "pajama day" on my desk calendar to remind myself.

I forgot.

I will remember to pick up my kid, however.

.....I wish my work had pajama day.

The 2 weeks you have when you give notice are pajama day.

So ******. Was all set to leave at 2 so I could be home for tip at 3. The person working in my store is covering and doesn't have a key (store closes at 3). Went to my box of extra keys to give him one to close up and my staff has handed them all out to people already so there's none left. So now I'm ******* stuck here until 3 just so I can lock the doors and am going to miss probably the first hour of the game.
