Matt White wasn't the only guy who had a problem with these guys. People will do anything not to blame an athlete. It's not the end of the world but it's not Matt White's fault. Trust me, I know for a fact.

Sorry but if he wants to put his name out there and do multiple media appearances then he's fair game. Maybe he's right, maybe he's lying, but he is certainly fair game just as BDJ is also fair game.

Yeah, if for some reason I decided to turn in one of the best players on my own university's most high-profile teams just a day before one of the bigger games of the year, I think my comments to the media would be something like "no comment." I certainly wouldn't be seemingly going around to share my opinion on whether individuals should still be on university athletics teams or not.

I had a year in ames with a whiny neighbor like White. The cops were called 5-8 times in one school year on us for what I would call "above" average noise. We were never having a party, or playing loud music. Just a bunch of guys playing video games and being "loud"

My point is all the people pointing to a pattern of behavior is a joke. The pattern of behavior is that White is a whiny little *****. We got to the point where we felt victimized. We couldn't even have above average noise in our own home? That is B.S.

Every time the cops came they couldn't do anything because we were not breaking any laws. Thank god they didn't break the law and search our home illegally at least. who knows what was in some of my roommates dresser drawers. Funny how we all turned out ok and contribute to society now even with our disturbing pattern of noise complaints that one year when we had a ****** neighbor.

I wonder why this guy is a "former" wrestler?

Because he was not a good wrestler. He was essentially brought in to be a sparring partner for guys in practice. Due to injuries two years ago, he got thrown into the fray at the Big 12 championship. He wrestled Oklahoma State's Jordan Oliver (National champ and multi-time All-American). Oliver destroyed him and ended up injuring Matt's knee pretty bad late in the match. As far as I know, that was the end of his career.

I said this also in the other thread! We had the cops called on us 6-7 times in one of our apartments. One time none of us were even upstairs we were in our rooms studying (no bs). Sometimes ****** neighbors are are ****** neighbors..but as a leader on the team he should know he is on thin ice already and shouldn't be doing anything at his place especially at 3 am.

The photos of garbage in the hallway make me think he's just a huge jerk.

I think you are understating how big of entitled, inconsiderate jerks Jones and Nader sound like. Yes it is one guys word vs another but...

http://www.iowastatedaily.com/business/article_f349fbe8-816c-11e4-bad3-4b9f0904cabf.html

"They outright leave their trash out in the hallways and there was one morning I came home and the trash was littered all over the hallway," White said. "There is puke in the hallways and every smell that comes into the hallway in this building has been linked to their unit. [There are] parties at all hours of the night, all days of the week. Last night specifically, I think it was just them screaming at each other playing video games at 4 a.m."Noise, garbage and smells, however, are far from the only concern to White, who lives one door down from Dejean-Jones.
White described a particularly vulgar incident that happened recently.

"I came home one day and I noticed there was a note on their door," White said. "Someone else posted it, it was not me. Someone wrote them a nice handwritten letter that said this is what you guys are doing; we do not appreciate it. We would like it if you guys showed more respect.

A couple hours later that note was on my door with the words 'suck my [expletive]' written on it because they thought I did it. I shrugged it off, put it back on their door and later that night they came pounding on my door with the letter. They were drunk and fights almost happened that night."

Got BDJs address? Send him this?

Agreed. That individual's comments about how BDJ should not be on the team were very disturbing. Hopefully everyone can just drop it and move on.

So do I. Matt White was just the one to finally do something about it. Others on the floor were given the cops cell phone if the noise continued. Its over. I'm thankful it is just one game. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

So he could be a little bitter towards the AD?

Hello, Matt!
I'm old enough to be Matt's Dad assuming he's a traditional student. It's clearly Matt's fault though.

I'm not is support of this kid going to the media at all. I'm sure he's a piece of work. I'm just saying it's not his fault.

I don't know the kid personally, so I won't speculate on whether that has anything to do with this incident. I do think his background (as I know there is a strong distaste for the basketball team among a portion of our wrestlers - this has been the case for years) is relevant in painting the full picture here.
