Seriously? The majority of the time there was no violation. I don't get how anyone can look at that and say there is something else going on as well.
There's a specific level where a violation occurs, just because it doesn't reach that level doesn't mean they're not disturbing neighbors and being jerks, as evidenced by the times they came and just agreed to turn down the music or were told by police that they were disturbing their neighbors. It's not like people have a noise meter to measure the sound level and only call police when it's over the ordinance level. The one article even said the guy texted them to turn it down and it didn't solve the problem, so he called the police.

If Fred wanted to make a point to BDJ why didnt he suspend him 5 games instead of 1? How come his roommate Nader didnt get any games? He gave BDJ 1 game because there were pictures of him in chains with an ISU bball shirt on and multiple sports websites headlining him running a drug house.

Nader wasn't charged with anything. It's possible he had no involvement in any of this.

His complaining was not without merit. BDJ's apartment clearly had a history of disturbing neighbors whether it was in violation of the noise ordinance or not.

Perhaps there is, but if even half of what Matt White said was true there was clearly some disrespect from BDJ, and despite having what should be a short leash with issues at UNLV and USC he has made a bad decision or two.

What I'm fairly certain of after today:

A) BDJ and possibly Nader made some really poor choices and were disrespectful and rude neighbors. Straight up, he was be a huge jerk. (in other words, deserved what he got).

and

B) Matt White seems like a very small, petulant person. Ok, you got the kid in trouble and hopefully he won't bother you any more. Don't need to go giving quotes to every media outlet you can find and making the story bigger. He knows BDJ isn't probably going to get to tell his part of the story, so whatever he says will be the public's version of the truth. Be a man.

Wow, that's quite the opinion of somebody you've never met and, less than 12 hours ago, didn't even know existed.

I once called the cops on my neighbors in a highrise who were smoking weed. The smoke was blowing into my place through the vents... The cops came and acknowledged that there was pot inside but said that they couldn't do anything about it.

Matt White doesn't think BDJ should still be on the team

I have no idea how I found this article...

So a kid that washed out as a wrestler wants someone kicked off the basketball team now. Wow. Kid may have had a point with his complaints but he is definitely a giant ********.

Matt White says it doesn't matter that his neighbor suits up for the ISU basketball team, he just wants some peace and quiet, "I don't care who he is, how he's performing. He's not being respectable to the public and he shouldn't be on the team."

Okay there is clearly a beef between these two guys. Wrestlers and basketball players have never gotten along much anywhere. Dejean-Jones made some pretty big errors, (I'm not dismissing them as this could all have been avoided had he not done any of this) but Matt White is also trying to get the media to blow this out of proportion, when really for the sake of his social standing, he should just let it go now.

How dare him share a story that was something like what happened with BDJ. He's a narc. totes mcgotes. Can we get a ban hammer on atlantacyclone please? Pretty please? With cherries on top? and sprinkles? Obviously bringing up personal experiences that somewhat relate to something makes you one giant *** wipe. :jimlad:

I would never question Hoiball, its a disappointing decision that he had to make to save face because all of the media outlash. Its same kind of thing that gets Adrian peterson a 10+ game suspension for committing a misdemeanor.

Posts like these make me love having mods here to ban people like you. Thank you cards are in the mail.

I love Fred. Good for him for saying this is a decision I came up with, and not a code of conduct thing. Dude is simply a stand up man. He knew some whack offs (like Marty) would react like they did, but his integrety means something. Can't say that for a lot of people in his profession anymore.

Oh. And hes super handsome.

Would. Totally would
