***Official 2015 Recruiting Thread***

Does anyone know if we are even looking at any IWCC guys? They have some pretty good players.

DT Mike Edwards has 78 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 9 sacks in 11 games. He has also forced 2 fumbles and recovered 2 fumbles. Those are great numbers for a DT.

DB Mondo Williams has 8 INTs in 10 games (the team has 28 INTs).

Freshman WR Taj Williams has 72 catches for 918 yards and 11 TDs.

We need some DTs.

CPR said on the call in show that they were looking for immediate help at DT, corner and nickel, and an offensive lineman for "depth and competition". He was almost out of time, so he didn't really clarify. Said something about their current DL commits being pretty good.

My god, what about the linebackers? Huh? The linebackers.

DT Mike Edwards, we are listed on his rivals page, but looks like we haven't offered. He's 6'1" 305. His stats are really good, so it looks like he is a good run stopper and pass rusher.

I watched IWCC and Iowa Central this past weekend. IWCC's offense started slowly, but got on track and dominated. Their Defense was dominant until garbage time. IWCC's DL was really good. Edwards was caving the pocket consistently. Their CBs were physical too. It's hard to get an idea of their coverage skills vs. ICCC. They shut down ICCC's passing game pretty well, but they're not much of a passing team.

I don't follow recruiting that closely, so someone may know his story, but ICCC's Raekwon Jefferson, who's a freshman DT from Bettendorf was really impressive. ICCC is usually good for a few guys to UNI, other FCS, and maybe a non-power 5 guy here and there. However, this guy looks like the real deal.

Jordan Harris redshirted this year. Remember him? Second team NJCAA All-American and leading JUCO tackler in the nation. Would like to get his teammate DT Demond Tucker this year.

This piece here talks about him transferring out.

He would have 3 years to play if he commits and comes this year.

Here is his 247 profile.

Has him at 6'2", 305lbs.

Another interesting note from that Georgia Tech blog is that another DL guy transferred to Iowa Western. Kevin Robbins. He has 3 to play also if he leaves for D1 this spring.

Here is his HS Rivals profile.

6'3" and listed at 255lbs.

They came from the same high school. Both were 3 stars in high school. Could probably pull them both in.
