That's horrible. I hope you can find something else. Or at least something else comes to help out.
I hope CBS doesn't run Colbert off like NBC did to Conan. Colbert is going to be a much different personality than Letterman and they better prepare for the change.
Seems to me double ought gave me my 1000th, but I could be wrong.
I don't really understand the points either, but I think I'm supposed to start more threads that people like, or mayor a game or something...and I'm just not that driven.
The other thing I haven't figured out is the "overdrive" icon that I have. Double ought has one too. I thought it had to do with rapid fire posting, but geeze, you & pantsy have me beat on that one, no contest, and you don't have it. Then you & cmjh have a "social" icon (another thing I would think would be linked to obsessive posting) but pantsy doesn't have that one either. I'd love to see a list of what the icons represent, but haven't found it yet.
When traveling abroad: I took american public restrooms for granted. They are free here...apparently 2 years later I still forgot that some places charge and the limited amount available.

Many public restrooms in the US used to be coin op as well. We're spoiled here, for sure. What I loved was having to buy two small sheets from a rather scruffy guy, and having him lock us in the stalls. It was in Greece, I think. He would listen for the flush & then come unlock the door and let it swing open again. It was a good idea to a) carry a purse pack of kleenex everywhere you went, and b) make sure you re-arranged your clothing before flushing.
DH is going to have to wait a while for that nephew :smile:
