That's what I thought too. Probably just an effort to keep him from fueling the fire during the game and during pre game.

so whilst I was waiting for-ev-uh for my car to be done, I vaguely noticed a guy come in and talking behind me. Then when they walked out, my brain had a super hard time reconciling that this guy was in a dress, Derby hat, with a purse and a nicely shaved legs.

pantsy, I found a video with me in it! Just listen to the soprano part. I'm in there somewhere. This was posted in 2012, but it's def the one done when I was there. It's identical to the recording I have.

That's really good! I miss listening to music like that. You're lucky I don't know what you sound like because I'm a pro at picking people out in groups like that.
I don't think peoe realize how quality of a music school ISU has either.
I'm going to tell you a secret, she had us switch to other parts sometimes because it was so tiring to sing that high for so long. Def one of my favorite songs though.
I don't think you could pick me out. I never could. I could pick DH out in Statesmen recordings sometimes, but he couldn't hear himself. So maybe you could hear me, but I probably wouldn't be able to tell you which one I was, haha.
The Rodde's are pretty dedicated and good, I will say that.

My ex was a mezzo, and they're pretty easy to pick out, but I think most sopranos stick out anyway. The lower they get the harder it is though. I have no idea who is singing what when it comes to dudes.
I was just telling DH I think it's easier to pick out lower registers. I can't tell a group of sopranos apart unless they have different vibrato styles because you're singing such a pure note it's hard to add character to it. A small group of sopranos, maybe, but I can't tell them apart in this song. There were a couple spots where I thought I heard myself but you sound so different IRL from what you think you do that it's hard to tell.
I had the biggest crush on DH and we had to sing a duet together about love and ****. So cute to watch the video now.
If I ever saw your non-horse YouTube videos, I could pick you out in a heartbeat from this song!
There's a recording we have from my husband's freshman year of the band doing "Play - Sing - Play". (Play Fights, Sing Fights, Play Fights) I SWEAR I can pick him out of the 300+ that are singing. He's a decent singer, probably not Statesmen quality, so it isn't that I'm picking out a bad voice.
I wonder if it's easier for the non-singer person to pick them out. Our teacher used to say she could pick us out of concerts and I thought she was nuts. But DH and I just listened to one of his Statesmen songs and we can both totally hear him.
