NDSU has had some fine FCS teams the past few years. Winning national championships at any level is a great accomplishment, especially repeat championships.

However, hanging your hat on beating three teams from BCS conferences over a four year period isn't that impressive, especially since two of those teams happened to be KU & Minny who both posted 3-9 records the years NDS beat them.

Winning at KSU last year is noteworthy, though, as has been thoroughly rehashed already, that came on the first game of the season, and sometimes teams just don't come out ready. None-the-less that was a good win.

But, over the same four year period, while ISU was at best mediocre and struggled last year, the Cyclones beat 14 teams from BCS conferences. So, in the same four year period that NDSU beat KSU, KU, and Minny, ISU beat:

KU four times
Iowa twice
WVU
TCU
Baylor
UCONN
Texas Tech twice
Okie State
Texas

Looking forward to Saturday!

Game week is here. I notice alot of quietness in here. Don't get nervous it's just a game.

That quiet is confidence. A week from today you will be trying to put the pieces of your shattered life back together.

When we beat NDSU, do you promise to go away and never come back?

No. He's going to come up with excuses if NDSU loses. It's going to be the refs first, then the weather, then NDSU let them win, then so on. He's a clown.

Or resort back to his excuses he's been using for how they lost in 2009. "If our quarterback wouldn't have fumbled in the red zone we'd have scored and it would have been a 14 point swing!" Even though they lost by 17 so they still would have lost by three is that stuff didn't happen.

Enjoy the last week of lakes everybody. If ISU wins, he won't be back. If NDSU wins, he'll go over board and get banned.
