Didn't you say you were supposed to go home for a thing at your parents' and they did all this spiffin' up, and then it got cancelled?
Oh, just how you were not in a good mood last night 'cuz of all that junk, now tonight you're flying over the closing. Good to see again.
I couldn't tell the tone of that post - definitely in a better mood today. There were some other things stressing me out about going home for that thing beyond just the family stuff, but that's the easiest way for it to manifest. You know how when you fight with someone about something current but start bringing up stuff from the past and make the fight about that instead? Just like that. (don't fight like that, tis bad to do)

I just asked DH what our street name is. Said what I thought it is. We looked at each other. I go "that's a stupid name." DH: "yeah it is, we should petition to change it".
Oh, don't get me started on stupid street names. Our last house was on Eight Point Lane, so every frickin' time you'd try and tell someone what your address was you'd have to intentionally pause between the house number and the street name or they'd end up with it as 12348 Point Lane, and then even then, you'd have people then confused if you were going back to the number again, or what Ate Point was...uggh...and it really was the fact that it was Eight...you never have a problem with 3rd street or 8th avenue, but you put an Eight in there, people get squirrely.
When we bought our current house, the realtor asked if we had any other weird stipulations on what we were looking for, and I said "Yes, the first word of the street address can't be a number, unless it's 3rd or 5th, or something like that, but it can't be like Eight Point". She gave me this weird look, then once I explained it, she was like, yeah, that'd suck.
And, look at it this way, at least it's not Dingleberry Road, right?

it's just boring, not really bad or annoying like Ate point lane. Just not all sweet and homey like Maple Street or Windsor Drive.
the best one I ever saw was on a judging trip to PA. Went under a little two lane in Ohio.

I actually looked up to see if there was an alternate definition from the one everyone knows, but nope, there's not.
Well, technically you had the opportunity to see my street name if you looked at that return address label from the cd package. So you weren't wrong in replying in that.
