I get it, and I'm not arguing because I don't really care, but just to play devil's advocate, is it really more family friendly to resort to gross slang terms that aren't censored as opposed to the scientific term? I mean, vagina isn't censored.

I do agree with you, but that's why the censor is there--to catch when people use the real terms and don't have to circumvent the filter. Which is why it's annoying when people resort to other terms and combinations of letters and dashes/stars rather than letting the filter do its job.
