Random thoughts thread

I got stung by a bee when I was mowing last night. Apparently I'm allergic to them. So random thought of the day is that it's good to be alive!

Unfortunately, I have a hot date tonight, so I'm really hoping this facial swelling goes down and this rash completely disappears. It's already 90% gone (which means it's only on 10% of my body.)

I'm picturing Hitch right now.

and which 10%? This is important.

beautiful day to go downtown :) Hopefully there are some goodies at the farmer's market......though probably still too early for melons.

double 00 (anyone else want to call him James Bond?) was up pretty late for his time. Pants wasn't even on til midnight.

And I was back up at 7:20, but to be fair, Rum Brooklyn got started drinkin' waay before I did.....Brisket on the smoker, and the kiddos and I played outside with the wafting hardwood smoke while the missus cleaned the house. Good morning....

My hands and feet mostly. And it thinks it somewhere else because of the itching, but I can't really check out that area with my current level of flexibility.

What happened in Hitch? I haven't seen it. Was it Kevin James or Will Smith?

Ok, I googled the clip. That's what it's what it was like when I looked in the mirror. I had mowed for awhile still, until I noticed the hives on my arms. I went to the bathroom, and was like Whoa! It was kind of funny because all the doctors in the ER wanted to take a peek, and they were just going through a shift change so I saw about 10 doctors and/or nurses.

Interesting. I wouldn't argue it.

I'd say it comes down to emotions. Women tend to connect everything to an emotion. That's why they always "feel" and want to know how we "feel" about things. This makes them happy, or this makes them sad, or this makes them bored, etc. Men tend to disassociate from that. We CAN associate feelings, but we also can know something is simply because it is. Even sex. I had an ex that always wanted to know how it felt for a guy. She would describe all of these emotions and feelings she had during it and she'd get so mad because my description was "it's warm, and wet and feels really good."

I see nothing wrong with that description. It is accurate, and keeps the story on point.

Yes, really. "Family site." :twitcy:

I get it, and I'm not arguing because I don't really care, but just to play devil's advocate, is it really more family friendly to resort to gross slang terms that aren't censored as opposed to the scientific term? I mean, vagina isn't censored.

Anyway. I don't care. Even if you agreed with me, I doubt you'd have the power to change it.
