The Italy v. England match is in Manaus where the US will be playing Portugal. The pitch was in terrible shape a few days ago so it will be interesting to see what it looks like today. Spray painted green I'm sure.

This was a can't miss game for most Soccer fans anyway, but like you said since the US plays there I have extra interest in this one.
i wasn't saying he was younger than campbell smarty pants. I was saying he was younger compared to Giroud and most players at the world cup.
If European teams are going to wilt in 84 degrees and 70% humidity, I wish the US played both Portugal and Germany in Manaus.
I was just wondering what you all thought of him. I know that he isn't on their roster. In fact isn't the 2009 ConFed Cup the only time he has made a competitive roster for Italy? Well maybe there was a qualifier here or there but he hasn't featured for them or made many rosters.
I don't have a problem with Rossi. He was born in NJ, but it seemed pretty clear all along that his goal was to play for Italy. He represented Italy from their U16 level all the way up. I know there are still plenty of USMNT fans that are butthurt about his decision, but I never got the impression that he was leading US Soccer along about who he was going to play for.
I haven't had the chance to read any of this thread yet, but how about Costa Rica?! I was able to start watching at the start of the 2nd half and that was some exciting stuff. Can't wait for Monday!
