1 day away, who else is excited???

Just as a little pro tip, if you google "World Cup Schedule" there is a nice little thing at the top where you can look at results, upcoming matches and group standings.

I'm excited, but the start (tomorrow!) is sneaking up on me so I haven't thought about it a ton.

Maybe it will change as the games get closer, but why are none of the US games marked as being on TV? I see several games marked as on ABC...

I'm looking forward to watching our 3 games.
I'm excited for our matches just because it's the US, but there's going to be some really fun matchups outside of that, just the first weekend I'm looking forward to Spain v. Netherlands, England v. Italy, Ivory Coast v. Japan.

It's awesome this is in the right time zone. That Netherlands-Spain matchup should be interesting.

I'm part of the sunshine optimist club for all sports, but I actually think we can get out of the group. If we don't I understand why, but I'm going in with a bit of optimism.

Portugal is battling some injuries by the sounds of it which will help.

Im more nervous than anything. I would love for us to advance from the group stage but for the 2nd time in 3 world cups we are in the group of death.

Don't be nervous, just go into it knowing that we're not winning (like our U.S. coach) and you'll be a lot better off.

Anyone that thinks we're winning is a special kind of delusional, I'd say we have a fighting chance of getting out of the group though and after that who knows.

I'm the least excited about this cup of any since... '94 I guess. I didn't really follow international soccer much then, although that one was in the US (right?) and I watched a bunch.

I think it's because this is the first time I can't rearrange my schedule to watch as much as possible. Stupid job and kid.

I'm working on a project in Brazil. I was told that Friday is a "holiday" and no one will be around after 2PM Brazil time tomorrow. As in, they will either be rioting or celebrating :spinny:

Probably rioting either way.

I'm doing a little World Cup Fantasy Draft with a couple of my coworkers. So far I have Argentina, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, and mother Russia.
