Come to think of it....
I did drive by today...LJS looked so sad sitting there empty. :-(
Prime location, hope another guilty pleasure takes up shop there.
On a vaguely related note due to being very close I said location, how cool is the great clips dude who stands on the corner singing and dancing all day with his reggae hat on?

Love that guy. Is he out there on the real cold days also?

LJS closed 17 years ago...only nobody told them.
The site is too small for them, they need ore parking, that was a problem for LJS customers.Chick-fil-a? It's a pretty good location.

Its not been doing well for some time, maybe the revamp later this year will save it, but I'm skeptical.
I really meant doing well relative to the last 20 yearsFor 2012, even before the rebranding initiative, LJS posted its best operational numbers in a decade, he said. A 5 percent increase in comparable store sales yielded a 50 percent increase in bottom-line income, Kern said, as management worked to cut fixed costs.

Is that a recent picture? I thought that guy got hired by Great Clips to dance on the SE corner of Lincoln Way and Grand Ave.
I haven't been to LJS in years but since I can't have it now I'm kind of craving it. On a related note, why hasn't anyone opened a new restaurant in the old Diamond Daves location at the mall? The place has been empty for years.
