It will end up being forced on Rhoads. When they see season ticket sales for next year, if this staff is still intact, they won't have a choice. You can't sell hope when hope is gone. The only thing to sell right now is a new offensive direction. This is at least my hope. If apathy sets in again with this fanbase, it's over folks. I just have this gut feeling that this is it for ISU. We either get over this hump now, or it's never going to happen. This fanbase has been sold the same bill of goods for years, eventually we just aren't going to buy it anymore.

Agree, no way we get rid of Rhoads, but he does have to realize that this offense just doesn't work here.

I don't see many things making Lazard go to Notre Dame, but losing CPR would probably be one of them.

I'm not sure that I buy it now.
College football is a haves and have nots game. Barring something dramatic, it does not look like we're breaking through anytime soon.

It might not be a bad idea to lower ticket prices next year. There aren't many options to lure people in after this failure of a season. That's one that may limit the number of non-renewals.

You are correct. The clock is ticking on the GOR under the TV contract. Re-alignment will rear its ugly head again. If we continue to be this pathetic in football, we will get voted off the BCS conference island very quickly in the next round.

Agree 100%. I honestly think it is desperation time. Need a bold Johnny Orr type hire and fast. Yes I am serious.

What is frustrating is the glimpses of what appears to be a very talented team.

And then it's like we take a laxative pill that results in diarrhea of out if place defenders, crap tackling, and a woefully inept offense.

No clue as to the main issue. I just hope CPR can figure it out before next season.
