Niang with 20

Ejim plays sparingly

89-81 ISU. Couple of big buckets from Niang in the final 2 minutes to pull away

We play like we did during the first half of the Augstana and the much of the first half for UNCW. We miss most of our shots due to good defense, and Michigan scores easy on our defense.

Michigan wins this, 85-63

Lol that's simply not going to happen. Iowa state hasn't lost by double digits at home since Hoiberg got here. We might lose this game but there's no way someone is going to blow us out at home in front of a sellout crowd.

103-0 Iowa State

Naz "Threesus of Nazareth" Long with a full-court 3 at the buzzer, just because.

81 - 80 Michigan.

ISU gets called for a non-existent hand check foul with 10s to go, Michigan nails both free throws.

Obviously me. Fred is way too cool a customer for that.

Hahaha very true. I was just referring to his pacemaker being set at 72 bpm, he has no choice but to be a "cool customer," but he was pretty much born with ice in his veins anyway. It did upset me sometimes last year when people got upset that he didn't get more like Rhoads on bad calls and get mad - they didn't seem to realize he had an aneurysm in his aortic valve and has something in his heart keeping his bpms stable so if he gets riled up he can feel his heartbeat heavily on his chest and is not a good thing for him physiologically.

Back on track to thread: I think we struggle from 3 early much like the last two games and we pick it up 2nd half, but some missed FT opportunities dooms us and Wolverines capitalize on them late.

Michigan 71
Iowa State 66

either you forgot about the KU game last year (108-96), or you are like me and will always count that one as a win, damn the official records.

I dont think OT games count as far as that goes, since at the end of regulation it was zero.

but yeah, we won that game, and our current home winning streak is still one of the longest in the country.

Anybody know what our home winning streak is, with last year's KU game in the W column?

It was at 22 before so i believe it'd be 25, which would have us in the top 3 for home win streak

Iowa State 76 Michigan 71. I think Iowa State wins every non-conference game with the exception of the BYU game in Provo, UT. And the Iowa game at Hilton.
