Baylor Kickoff 6 PM

I am in the center between Mason City, Des Moines, and CF. It depends on the time of day, cloud cover, wind direction, Mars location in comparison to the moon, and Mack Brown what channels I get in my apartment.

In all reality, I hope you are saying this while you are using an outdoor antenna rather than some type of indoor one because, if you don't, you really have nobody to blame but yourself for not getting any other channels. Outdoor ones are WELL worth the money and effort and make a BIG difference. However, if you are running an outdoor one and still only get those channels, sucks to be you and I know you aren't the only one. I guess if that is the case, enjoy your Downton Abbey then.

I have an indoor one, just fukced in the middle. Oh well, I have Netflix, just need to bite the bullet and get Satellite so I don't have to worry about going somewhere to watch a game.

Kinda like how unstoppable OSU's offense was in 2011?? Our secondary is better now then it was then in my opinion. Im not sure we can beat them, but I think Make it interesting for a while. With Sammy playing smart football and running clock maybe we can keep it close.

I like our current secondary, but there isn't one single 2013 ISU DB that I wouldn't trade away in return for Leonard Johnson.

I gotta completely disagree with this.

Same team that lost 35-0 to Maryland?
Yep, if you looked into that game you would see that a lot of Maryland's points came from West Virginia's offense turning the ball over and putting Maryland in great field position all game long. Tough to keep a team from scoring when they already start out in the red zone most of the time.

Obviously we won't know until gameday how they'll do against ISU but the OLine is simply better this year and winning the LOS.

Compare the 2012 and 2013 offensive results against WVU and ULM who returned most if not all of their best front 7 guys.

2012: 3.52 yards per carry (no sacks), 48 per drive (starters whole game due to shootout)
2013: 8.04 yards per carry (no sacks), 54.83 yards per drive (resting starters 2nd half, starters had 66)

It's mind boggling to do that against essentially the same guys who stuffed our run a year ago.

ISU was the only other team to shut our run game averages down.

I don't know what the hell happened, but Baylor has become freaky. I think we slow you down more than other opponents have this year, but I'm not expecting to win this game.

Simply put: You are never as good or as bad as you think you really are.

Baylor is not as good as everyone thinks they are and as we found out the last two weeks ISU is not as bad as we all thought they were...

I expect a very competitive game for sure. I think our team speed on D will match up well against Baylor.

I get what youre saying. I just think as a whole the secondary is better. The speed and athleticism is better. Just a ton of potential. The staff is really high on guys like Nigel Tribune

This year people can watch ESPNU on watch espn at least via Cox and some others. That is an improvement for ESPN broadcasts where they were blacked out in the past.

At least for me with Time Warner, I can't watch ESPNU on WatchESPN unless I upgrade my cable package to get ESPNU.

You're always worse than you think and the other team is always better than you could imagine. We lose by 80+ and the team bus leaves Rhoads in Waco at Pollard's direction.

Maybe they are more willing to take chances and throw the ball down the field.

Just because your high on a player, doesn't make them good at their position yet. Unless your opinion of good differs from the three minutes I saw him in Texas game. Long ways to go. In no ways is our secondary better than that year. Maybe more potential.
