Baylor Kickoff 6 PM

Honestly, you can't even say Baylor is averaging just 70 points per game. They literally have not been stopped yet this season.

They put subs in and burn clock the entire second half of every game. Realistically they are averaging 28pts per quarter, so holding them to 70 for an entire game their starters play would be about 30pts below their average. Seriously.

Wally's done a decent job the past two years against great Baylor offenses. I'm not saying I think ISU will win but I definitely think most of you are really selling Wally short.

Last year he did, the year before that was like 50 points I think.

Kinda like how unstoppable OSU's offense was in 2011?? Our secondary is better now then it was then in my opinion. Im not sure we can beat them, but I think Make it interesting for a while. With Sammy playing smart football and running clock maybe we can keep it close.

I have bunny ears. It if it isn't PBS or Cyclones.TV I probably cannot see it.

Probably a bit of an overstatement unless you are at one of those remote areas where PBS is ALL you can pick up. In your defense though, isn't it funny how no matter where you are, PBS ALWAYS seems to be the first station you can pick up? I've definitely seen a bunch of places where nearly every channel is nothing but snow and piecemeal, yet PBS comes in clear as day, never fails.

Lets see how they do against a defense with a pulse this week.

I am in the center between Mason City, Des Moines, and CF. It depends on the time of day, cloud cover, wind direction, Mars location in comparison to the moon, and Mack Brown what channels I get in my apartment.

This year people can watch ESPNU on watch espn at least via Cox and some others. That is an improvement for ESPN broadcasts where they were blacked out in the past.

I do see now as well that Cox has been added to the list of providers who allow WatchESPN access:

WatchESPN FAQ

I didn't know that. I'd still call that a pretty slim list still and it also still doesn't contain Mediacom, which I imagine is the majority of cable subscribers who are ISU fans. Even if that list keeps expanding, I imagine Mediacom will be the LAST company to get it added. Something tells me they don't want to compromise their stronghold on being the very worst rated cable company in the nation. I mean, if they add WatchESPN, it may be enough take them up to second to last.

Don't forget the Big 12 officials office. I hear they have the ability to sway it as well. Give this a shot: Texas Longhorns Mini Foam Finger Antenna Topper

If you do, I hear you'll pick up a crystal clear 200 channel lineup in Zimbabwe if need be. However, for some reason, you still won't get the Longhorn Network. I mean nobody gets that.

Well, I dunno. Looks like our chances are pretty slim. But, you never know. After all, you play to win the game.

Obviously we won't know until gameday how they'll do against ISU but the OLine is simply better this year and winning the LOS.

Compare the 2012 and 2013 offensive results against WVU and ULM who returned most if not all of their best front 7 guys.

2012: 3.52 yards per carry (no sacks), 48 per drive (starters whole game due to shootout)
2013: 8.04 yards per carry (no sacks), 54.83 yards per drive (resting starters 2nd half, starters had 66)

It's mind boggling to do that against essentially the same guys who stuffed our run a year ago.

ISU was the only other team to shut our run game averages down.
