Breaking Bad

From start to finish this was the best, most completely detailed show I will ever see. In a time when 85% of tv programming is garbage reality shows, it's nice to see such a thorough story told the way it should be.

Badfinger's "Baby Blue" was the absolute icing on that cake. The lyrics fit perfectly:

Guess I got what I deserve
Kept you waiting there, too long my love
All that time, without a word
Didn't know you'd think, that I'd forget, or I'd regret

The special love I have for you
My baby blue

Is it bad that I chuckled after finding out the "best hitmen west of the Mississippi" were Badger and Skinny Pete with laser pointers?

That was the way you wrap everything up in an hour. The Gretchen/Elliot part had me thinking Walt had gone completely unhinged.

I agree. Great selection.

Still trying to sort out how Walt could be such a cold blooded evil dude and have my sympathy to the very end. Just masterfully done.

Meh. wish Walt would have died in some exciting way. what happens to brock?

totally unexpected with elliot and gretchen

You serious, Clark?

Walt died from a bullet that came from an M60 he strapped to a garage door opener and mounted to the trunk of a car and then triggered himself to kill a group of skinheads that had murdered the brother-in-law he loved. How could it get any more epic than that?

Really had me worried there when Jesse gave him back the pistol and said do it yourself. I did not want it to end that way. Playing with my head to the very end.

Yeah mine too. That would have been the Sopranos or Dallas moment if the Breaking Bad writers wanted to go that route, but if you look back at history those endings aren't viewed in a good light. Those shows went the controversial route. Gilligan went the route everyone kind of hoped he would and I think he and the show will benefit from that.
