NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

Only reason Ginobli traveled was the bear hug Allen had on him, even the heat homer announcers said it was a foul.

Maybe I missed it, but you could be right if I check again. It's kind of like LeBron and Bosh not getting calls on their flops late though. Everyone knows LeBron and Bosh are huge floppers so they didn't send them to the line to win a championship flopping to the ground. People know Manu takes a lot of steps, I'd have had a hard time sending him to the line out of control traveling like that having watched him for years...and I hate Miami.

Well Lebron was fouled on back to back possessions in the 4th and neither were called so I guess both sides have room to ***** about the reffing. I'm not an NBA fan but as I watched the game I thought the Spurs were getting the majority of the calls.

I've never seen a superstar get less respect from the refs than LeBron did tonight. Jordan or Kobe are getting the whistle every time on those drives. I think LeBron's size works against him here.

I will give you he was hacked on his 4th step with no dribble ... should have been a travel but they don't call that in the NBA.

I think that's why they didn't call a foul because he did travel. Those wanting the Spurs to win myself included can't gripe about anything in OT because if the Spurs get 1 rebound or make one more ft in final minute of regulation they are celebrating right now.

I'm sure it would have been a foul any other time of the game, it probably would have been a foul on LeBron, Wade or maybe Parker too. That's just how it is though.

Ginobili was on his 3rd step when he got fouled so I can live with that. Ray Allen came to the rescue tonight. This Miami team is loaded like few have ever been, they just lack focus/discipline to match their talent which makes for a roller coaster.

they do, but this Spurs team is really good too. It's a double whammy.

However, the reason I thought the Spurs needed to win this game is you really don't want have to play Miami when they don't have to save energy for the next game.

I've heard you make similar threats umpteen times before and you never follow through.

I said that after the Lakers/Kings series was fixed, was that a decade ago? It's my favorite sport. Learned to never say that no matter how ticked I get.

I agree Parker got every ticky tack call, but other than that they bit the whistle on everything else

Like I said in a previous post(and many posts through out the game), the officiating had been horrible, back and forth.

Yes, if Ginobli or Leonard make both of their free throws, they win the game.

I thought I was watching a replay of the kansas - Iowa State game. Ginobili should have been shooting 2 free throws at the end to potentially win it. I really despise the heat when they constantly flip flop over and over.

Is this considered a flop and worthy of a fine?

Just heard flopping is now getting fined yesterday - not sure of how far the rules stretch.

cyJack did indeed flop it looks like. 5,000 points taken away as the penalty.
