Holy crap - the Spurs hit 16 treys (set an NBA playoff record); that's almost as good as the Cyclones. I think they might need a few of those 36 points for the next game.
Watching the Spurs in the 2nd half, I felt like I was watching a CFH-coached team. Spread the floor, crisp passing, nailing the threes.
It's not hard to remember why.
1. "The Decision"
2. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
3. "Not One, not two, not three...."

If Brian Shaw gets through another offseason without a head coaching job I'll be astonished. He's been ready for two plus years now. I'm starting to wonder if his mentorship under Phil Jackson is somehow hurting his chances instead of helping him.

It's fun to come here and play devils advocate with you guys. Because having a live in GF of 3 years makes it really hard to talk abut sports at home. All I get is blank looks and Pinterest babble.
At first it was some of the reasons you pointed out, but anymore I can't stand him for the exact same reason I always hated Derek Fisher and Shane Battier: falling down violently on purpose and fake crying that they're pretend injured. People who never watched MJ play getting into GOAT arguments is enough reason as well.
It sucks that instead of focusing on the fact that the Spurs outplayed the Heat, everyone is obsessed with what Lebron did or didn't do. The Heat have struggled throughout the playoffs, against teams inferior to the Spurs. They have been wobbly the last 2 series, the knockout was inevitable.
I just think the average sports fan just views him as a villain because he made himself into one when he spurned Cleveland. And now, that should be water under the bridge unless you have an invested interest in the situation.
Meaning guys like Rulzzz and HFCS for example obviously still have reason to dislike him being direct rivals with their teams. And I get the hating the flopping and whining.. I can't watch it either. To his defense (if there is any) the league made him this way. He's their biggest star and he's been babied since Day 1. I just think the flopping and whining is more prevelent in the league today because the players are put on such a pedestal that they know they can get away with a lot of garbage.
I view LeBron like I view Tebow in regards to the media bows down to these 2 so much that it makes people hate them. Just my opinions though. I think most of us here are more than average sports fans so I respect everyone's opinions.

He's a marginal NFL talent, and would do himself a lot of favors if he would just accept that he isn't an NFL quarterback and move to a position where he could contribute to the team. His jumper while improve is not even close to mj or even kobe, spurs are taking away the drive and will live with him shooting jumpers all day.
LeBron is being dared to shoot jumpers by the Spurs and he gladly obliging. Why does he do this? He is a frickin train when he is driving to the basket. It just boggles my mind that he just falls into this jump shooting crap.
