I think she's picking the better of the 2 evils. She knows the governor is crazy but still has hope in Rick to the right thing which he did. Like Darryl said, "You can't survive by yourself."

I think she's picking the better of the 2 evils. She knows the governor is crazy but still has hope in Rick to the right thing which he did. Like Darryl said, "You can't survive by yourself."
What else can she do? It's a pretty common theme in the show that you can't make it on your own and she sure as hell wouldn't go back to Woodbury.
Didn't Merle tell her that Rick didn't have the stones to go through with it, that's why he was doing it?
Rick decided he wasn't going to do it. Merle knew Rick wouldn't go through with it so he decided to do it on his own to avoid the war. He told Michonne he was doing it on his own. That's why she was trying to talk him into taking both of them back to the prison.
Merle did tell her that the Governor offered the deal to Rick in their meeting, but then said he was doing it all on his own. At least that's the way I remember it. I would expect there to be some tense moments between Michonne and Rick in the next episode. The fact that Rick never told her would make it apparent he was at least considering it.
I could see both sides. Why would you tell her if you weren't going to do it? In that situation is it better to tell or not to tell? Obviously we all know Rick was going to feed her to the lion until he had his break through, but she doesn't know that.
That being said it will be interesting to see how Darryl reacts when Michonne comes back to the jail and Merle didn't.

Yeah I saw it. Not saying he's going to blame Michonne for it because I think Darryl knows the real story. Just sayin' that it would be interesting if he does think Michonne killed him. IDK just a thought.
Why would he think she killed him? He wasn't missing his head, he was shot. She doesn't use guns. He's not dumb.
She's not exactly a trusting figure, and there is no reason for him to withhold that information from her. I don't know whats coming in the next episode, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if she confronts Rick about it. I won't consider some major oversight if it doesn't happen, just a hunch.
Ah, I see what you're saying. I thought you meant Darryl would be waiting back at the prison not knowing what happened to Merle or something. Darryl is a good tracker so I think he'll see all the Woodbury people that had been shot and figure out what Merle had been doing.
I agree, like I stated before I think Darryl is smarter than that. It would add an interesting twist to the plot thought. Who knows how Darryl would act after his only living relative is dead?? Again just a thought.
Anyone else been watching the marathon episodes they've been showing this week? I miss T-Dog.

Watching right now. A lot of these are new to me. I need to have a big DVD catch-up sometime.
